Monitoring Status & Flagging Discrepancies
Teqtivity compares its records with Intune’s data to identify discrepancies. These issues are flagged in discrepancy reports for IT to review and resolve. Organizations can customize workflows to automate or manually manage flagged discrepancies.
Devices Not Created: When Microsoft Intune doesn’t associate a device with an employee’s email, it becomes unclear if the device is in storage or assigned to someone.
User Discrepancy: A device shows as assigned to one user in Microsoft Intune but logged in by another user in Teqtivity. IT must verify if the reassignment was done incorrectly, with automation available to address it based on preferences.
Checking In – On Hand: A device marked as in storage in Teqtivity is logged into according to Microsoft Intune. IT needs to confirm whether the device was moved or if the storage status was not updated. Automation can assign it to the logged-in user.
Not Checking In – Managed and Deployed: An assigned device hasn’t been used for over 10 days, and no login activity is recorded in Microsoft Intune. IT must determine if the employee is absent, using another device, or if the laptop wasn’t returned.
Not Checking In – Not Managed and Deployed: Devices listed in Teqtivity but not in Microsoft Intune require IT to confirm proper installation and syncing of Intune to ensure compliance and effective tracking.
